When to Go

The crowds at Disney mostly follow the traditional school calendar with the exception of special events and new attraction unveilings. They tend to peak during the summer, winter holidays and spring break rush. In addition to crowds, temperatures are at their highest during July and August, with August also being the wettest month of the year in Florida.  If you can swing it, the absolute best times to go to are: Mid-November through mid-December (except the week of Thanksgiving). But keep in mind, people come from all over the world to visit Walt Disney World...there isn't really an "off period." Just a time where crowds are smaller, lines are shorter and sidewalks aren't shoulder to shoulder.
